The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Shadow Ridge Mustangs (Las Vegas, NV) and the host Silverado Skyhawks (Las Vegas, NV), observed Shadow Ridge's football squad defeat Silverado by a count of 28-12.

The Mustangs now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Bishop Gorman for a 5A Division I contest on Friday, October 6. Shadow Ridge will encounter a Gaels squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Arbor View (Las Vegas, NV). The Gaels record now stands at 7-0.

Coming up next, the Skyhawks encounter the Liberty Patriots (Henderson, NV) in a 5A Division I contest, on Friday, October 6. Silverado will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 41-7 non-league win over Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA).
