New Mexico High School Volleyball - Alamo Navajo nudged by Thoreau
September 29, 2023: Magdalena, NM 87825 The Alamo Navajo Cougars volleyball team (Magdalena, NM), was nudged 3-2 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Thoreau Hawks (Thoreau, NM)
The Hawks (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Newcomb (Newcomb, NM). The Skyhawks enter the 3A District 1 challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Newcomb was nudged by Cobre (Bayard, NM), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars meet the Pine Hill Warriors (Pine Hill, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 29. Alamo Navajo will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Zuni (Zuni, NM).
