Kentucky High School Volleyball - Dyer County over Ballard Memorial
September 29, 2023: Barlow, KY 42024 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Dyer County Choctaws (Newbern, TN) and the host Ballard Memorial Bombers (Barlow, KY), saw Dyer County's volleyball squad beat Ballard Memorial by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Dyer County upgrades its record to 27-8 on the year. The Choctaws travel to Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY) to play the Storm in a non-league bout on Friday, September 29. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 4-11. Hopkins County Central lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Caldwell County (Princeton, KY)
The Bombers now own a 17-9 record. They play next when they travel to Paducah Tilghman for a non-league bout on Monday, October 9. Ballard Memorial will play a Blue Tornado squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Ballard Memorial (Barlow, KY). The Blue Tornado record now stands at 5-15.
