September 29, 2023: Charlestown, MA 02129 In Friday's non-league contest, the Fontbonne Academy Ducks (Milton, MA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Charlestown Townies (Charlestown, MA), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Ducks battle the Notre Dame Academy Cougars (Hingham, MA) in a Catholic contest, on Monday, October 2. Fontbonne Academy will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Marblehead (Marblehead, MA).
With the loss, Charlestown moves to 1-8 on the year. The Townies travel to Snowden International (Boston, MA) to battle the Cougars in a Boston City - North contest on Saturday, September 30. The Cougars go into the contest with a record of 5-1. Snowden International won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Community Academy of Science & Health (Hyde Park, MA)
