With the win, George C. Marshall improves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Statesmen host McLean (McLean, VA) to encounter the Highlanders in a Liberty battle on Tuesday, October 7. The Highlanders go into the battle with a record of 9-1. McLean won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Langley (McLean, VA)
Next, the Majors meet the Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials (Alexandria, VA) in a National contest, on Tuesday, September 30. Mount Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Colonials enter the contest with a 7-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Annandale (Annandale, VA).
