Illinois High School Football - Libertyville tops Maine West
September 29, 2025: Des Plaines, IL 60018 The Libertyville Wildcats football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Maine West Warriors to 14 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.
The Wildcats now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waukegan for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 2. Libertyville will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 61-8 non-league loss to Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-4.
The Warriors (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Highland Park (Highland Park, IL). The Giants come into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Highland Park went down by Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL), 33-19, in a non-league challenge.
