September 29, 2025: Columbus, OH 43209 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets (Mt. Vernon, OH) and the host Bexley Lions (Columbus, OH), observed Mt. Vernon's volleyball team top Bexley by a tally of 2-0.
The Yellowjackets (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Utica (Utica, OH). The Redskins enter the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Utica achieved victory over Lakewood (Hebron, OH), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbus Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. Bexley will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Grandview Heights (Columbus, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 3-0.
