Lexington Christian Eagles (Lexington, KY) boosters left the game pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Model Patriots (Richmond, KY), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles (20-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record.

Next, the Patriots meet the Lee County Bobcats (Beattyville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Model will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Estill County (Irvine, KY).
