Connecticut High School Soccer - Coventry knocks off Griswold
September 29, 2025: Coventry, CT 06238 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Coventry Patriots (Coventry, CT) and the visiting Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT), saw Coventry's soccer team triumph over Griswold by a final score of 6-0.
With the triumph, Coventry moves its record to 5-3 on the campaign.
The Wolverines now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host St. Bernard for a Eastern Connecticut III match on Thursday, October 2. Griswold will meet a Saints team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Killingly (Killingly, CT). The Saints record now stands at 3-2.
