The Parkway Central Colts softball team (Chesterfield, MO), was routed 8-5 in Monday's non-league bout with the visiting Lafayette Lancers (Wildwood, MO)

The Lancers (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Northwest (Cedar Hill, MO). The Lions go into the Class 4 District 4 bout with a 7-9 record. In their last bout, Northwest was routed by Hillsboro (Hillsboro, MO), 9-3, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Colts face the Eureka Wildcats (Eureka, MO) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 3. Parkway Central will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 10-2 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Rockwood Summit (Fenton, MO).
