Connecticut High School Volleyball - Capital Prep overwhelmed by University
September 29, 2025: Hartford, CT 06103 University Hawks (Hartford, CT) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Capital Prep Trailblazers (Hartford, CT), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, University improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hawks travel to Sports & Medical Sciences Academy (Hartford, CT) to face the Tigers in a Capital Region test on Tuesday, October 7. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Sports & Medical Sciences Academy won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Bulkeley (Hartford, CT)
Next, the Trailblazers meet the Academy of International Studies Dragons (Bloomfield, CT) in a Capital Region challenge, on Wednesday, October 1. Capital Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 3-0 league win over CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy] (Enfield, CT).
