September 29, 2025: Roanoke, VA 24019 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Roanoke Valley Christian EAGLES (Roanoke, VA) and the visiting Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA), saw Roanoke Valley Christian's volleyball squad notch a victory over Craig County by a score of 3-1.
With the win, Roanoke Valley Christian improves its record to 11-7 on the season. The EAGLES travel to Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA) to encounter the Ospreys in a non-league battle on Friday, October 3. The Ospreys go into the battle with a record of 0-6. Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Dan River (Ringgold, VA)
The Rockets now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland for a Pioneer battle on Thursday, October 2.
