The Grant Lancers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Poly Parrots to 0 in the Lancers league triumph on Monday.

The Lancers now have a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sun Valley Magnet for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 1. Grant will confront a Pioneers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to University Prep Value (Los Angeles, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 16-9.

The Parrots (7-12) will now prepare for their game against Chavez (San Fernando, CA). The Eagles go into the East Valley game with a 7-10 record. In their last game, Chavez was dropped by Arleta (Arleta, CA), 3-0, in a league outing.
