September 29, 2025: Shepherd, MI 48883 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI) and the visiting Ithaca Yellowjackets (Ithaca, MI), saw Shepherd's volleyball squad nudge Ithaca by a score of 3-2.
With the win, Shepherd improves its record to 12-9 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI) to encounter the Panthers in a Jack Pine battle on Wednesday, October 1. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 9-7. Standish-Sterling won 2-0 in their recent league battle against Pinconning (Pinconning, MI)
The Yellowjackets now own a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley Lutheran for a Tri-Valley - West battle on Wednesday, October 1. Ithaca will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 28-4.
