Alabama High School Volleyball - Pleasant Grove Shades Valley
September 29, 2025: Pleasant Grove, AL 35127 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Shades Valley Mounties (Birmingham, AL) and the host Pleasant Grove Spartans (Pleasant Grove, AL), observed Shades Valley's volleyball team top Pleasant Grove by a count of 3-1.
The Mounties (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Pell City (Pell City, AL). The Panthers enter the 6A Area 11 contest with a 12-16 record. In their last contest, Pell City was knocked off by Ramsay (Birmingham, AL), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Indian Springs Student (Pelham, AL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 30. Pleasant Grove will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Student go into the battle with a 5-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Altamont (Birmingham, AL).
