Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) fans left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their football team rout the host Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA), 49-7 in a league test.

With the win, Ponchatoula improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Green Wave host Mandeville (Mandeville, LA) to confront the Skippers in a 5A District 6 test on Friday, October 8. The Skippers go into the test with a record of 1-3. Mandeville lost 36-35 in their recent league test against Slidell (Slidell, LA)

With the loss, Northshore moves to 3-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA) to confront the Bulldogs in a 5A District 6 test on Friday, October 8.
