North Carolina High School Soccer - Cox Mill nudges Hickory Ridge

September 30, 2021: Concord, NC 28027

Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Chargers face the South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC) in a Greater Metro 4A challenge, on Monday, October 4. Cox Mill will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 2-1 league loss to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC).

The Ragin' Bulls now have a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host West Cabarrus for a Greater Metro 4A challenge on Tuesday, October 5. Hickory Ridge will face a Wolverines team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-4.
