Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Lake Ridge Academy Royals (North Ridgeville, OH), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils confront the Keystone Wildcats (La Grange, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 2. Independence will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 4-3 league win over Oberlin (Oberlin, OH).
