The Hoover Buccaneers topped the visiting Thompson Warriors volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.
The Buccaneers now have a 21-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Mountain for a 7A Area 5 test on Tuesday, October 5. Hoover will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 14-12.
The Warriors (17-7) will now prepare for their test against Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL). The Wildcats enter the 7A Area 5 test with a 6-19 record. In their last test, Tuscaloosa County was knocked off by Jasper (Jasper, AL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
