New York High School Football - Archbishop Stepinac smashes Moore Catholic
September 30, 2022: Staten Island, NY 10314 The Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders (White Plains, NY) football routed the host Moore Catholic Mavericks (Staten Island, NY), 40-0 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Crusaders face the Iona Prep Gaels (New Rochelle, NY) in a Catholic AAA bout, on Saturday, October 8. Archbishop Stepinac will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Gaels enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 48-42 league loss to St. Anthony's (Melville, NY).
The Mavericks (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against Monsignor Farrell (Staten Island, NY). The Lions enter the non-league bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Monsignor Farrell walloped St. Peter's (Staten Island, NY), 40-0, in a non-league bout.
