In Friday's league game, the Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) football team knocked off the host Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL), by a final score of 47-21.

The Bulldogs (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Lemont (Lemont, IL). The Lemont HS come into the non-league game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Lemont toppled Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL), 63-6, in a league game.

The Argonauts now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blue Island Eisenhower for a South Suburban - Red game on Friday, October 7. Argo will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 14-6 league win over Reavis (Burbank, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-2.
