September 30, 2022: Walton, KY 41094 The Carroll County Panthers football team (Carrollton, KY), was tipped 28-26 in Friday's league challenge with the host Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY)
The Bearcats (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Owen County (Owenton, KY). The Rebels come into the 2A District 5 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Owen County nipped Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY), 34-0, in a league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trimble County for a 2A District 5 challenge on Friday, October 7. Carroll County will meet a Raiders team coming off a 18-14 league loss to Owen County (Owenton, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 2-3.
