September 30, 2022: Toms River, NJ 08753 The Donovan Catholic Griffins football team (Toms River, NJ), was beaten 41-13 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting St. Joseph Regional Green Knights (Montvale, NJ)
The Green Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Bergen Catholic (Oradell, NJ). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Bergen Catholic achieved victory over DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ), 35-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Griffins now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Wall Township for a Shore - American challenge on Friday, October 7. Donovan Catholic will meet a Crimson Knights team coming off a 24-14 non-league loss to Howell (Farmingdale, NJ). The Crimson Knights record now stands at 0-4.
