New Jersey High School Football - Nottingham held off by Hopewell Valley Central

September 30, 2022: Pennington, NJ 08534

In Friday's league game, the Hopewell Valley Central Bulldogs (Pennington, NJ) football team tipped the visiting Nottingham Northstars (Hamilton, NJ), by a final score of 34-32.

The Bulldogs (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Trenton Central (Trenton, NJ). The Tornadoes come into the West Jersey - Capitol game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Trenton Central was tipped by Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ), 49-20, in a league game.

The Northstars now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Ewing for a West Jersey - Capitol game on Saturday, October 8. Nottingham will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 21-14 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, NJ). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-3.
