September 30, 2022: Viborg, SD 57070 The Viborg/Hurley Cougars football team (Viborg, SD), was ripped 48-12 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Howard Tigers (Howard, SD)
The Tigers (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Chester (Chester, SD). The Flyers come into the Tri-Valley (9 Man) challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Chester was ripped by Bon Homme (Tyndall, SD), 62-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hanson for a Tri-Valley (9 Man) challenge on Friday, October 7. Viborg/Hurley will meet a Beavers team coming off a 51-0 non-league win over Garretson (Garretson, SD). The Beavers record now stands at 5-1.
