September 30, 2022: Sykesville, MD 21784 The Winters Mill Falcons football team (Westminster, MD), was ripped 48-7 in Friday's league challenge with the host Liberty Lions (Sykesville, MD)
The Lions (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Brunswick (Brunswick, MD). The Railroaders come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Brunswick trounced Clear Spring (Clear Spring, MD), 44-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Falcons now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Carroll for a Carroll County match on Friday, October 7. Winters Mill will clash with a Cavaliers squad coming off a 23-7 non-league win over Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-0.
