Nevada High School Football - Mineral County gets by Tonopah
September 30, 2022: Tonopah, NV 89049 The Mineral County Serpents football squad scored 64 points and restricted the host Tonopah Muckers to 60 in the Serpents league victory on Friday.
The Serpents now possess a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Round Mountain for a 1A Central (8 Man) battle on Friday, October 7. Mineral County will play a Knights squad coming off a 49-22 non-league win over Wells (Wells, NV). The Knights record now stands at 2-3.
Coming up next, the Muckers play the Beatty Hornets (Beatty, NV) in a 1A Central (8 Man) battle, on Friday, October 7. Tonopah will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Hornets enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 46-8 league loss to Pahranagat Valley (Alamo, NV).
