September 30, 2022: Sandy Spring, MD 20860 The Northwood Gladiators football team (Silver Spring, MD), was ripped 55-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD)
The Warriors (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwest (Germantown, MD). The Jaguars come into the Montgomery County 4A - West challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Northwest was ripped by Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD), 10-7, in a league challenge.
The Gladiators now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Springbrook for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 7. Northwood will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 28-21 league loss to Rockville (Rockville, MD). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-3.
