The Palisade Bulldogs softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Durango Demons to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Palisade moves its record to 16-4 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, October 1. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 13-2. Montezuma-Cortez lost 11-9 in their recent league game against Meeker (Meeker, CO)

In their next game, the Demons play the Grand Junction Central Warriors (Grand Junction, CO) in a 5A/4A Southwestern game, on Saturday, October 1. Durango will attempt to move on its 4-13 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 14-6 record after their 12-1 league win over Montrose (Montrose, CO).
