September 29, 2023: Jackson, NJ 08527 The Liberty Lions football team (Jackson, NJ), was beaten 35-13 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Toms River South Indians (Toms River, NJ)
The Indians (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Pinelands Regional was beaten by Matawan Regional (Aberdeen, NJ), 47-12, in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manchester Township for a Shore - Patriot challenge on Friday, October 6. Liberty will meet a Hawks team coming off a 35-14 non-league loss to Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ). The Hawks record now stands at 4-2.
