Illinois High School Football - Joliet West held off by Plainfield South
September 30, 2023: Plainfield, IL 60544 Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL), 38-36 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Plainfield South improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Naperville North (Naperville, IL) to battle the Huskies in a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 3-3. Naperville North lost 35-0 in their recent non-league test against Naperville Central (Naperville, IL)
With the loss, Joliet West drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Romeoville (Romeoville, IL) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 2-3. Romeoville won 20-8 in their recent non-league test against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL)
