California High School Volleyball - Rio Americano nudged by Weston Ranch
September 30, 2023: Sacramento, CA 95864 The Weston Ranch Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Rio Americano Raiders to 1 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cougars now have a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McNair for a game on Tuesday, October 3. Weston Ranch will meet a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 league win over Edison (Stockton, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 13-1.
The Raiders (9-8) will now prepare for their game against River City (West Sacramento, CA). The Raiders enter the non-league game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, River City nipped Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA), 2-1, in a league game.
