September 30, 2023: Dry Fork, VA 24549 The Abingdon Falcons volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Tunstall Trojans to 1 in the Falcons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Falcons now have a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christiansburg for a non-league game on Saturday, September 30. Abingdon will meet a Blue Demons team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA). The Blue Demons record now stands at 2-10.
The Trojans (9-5) will now prepare for their game against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Lord Botetourt held off Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
