Illinois High School Soccer - Galesburg knocks off Rockford East
September 30, 2023: Rockford, IL 61108 Galesburg Silver Streaks (Galesburg, IL) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Rockford East E-Rabs (Rockford, IL), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Coming up next, the Silver Streaks encounter the Belvidere Bucs (Belvidere, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 30. Galesburg will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Bucs come into the test with a 3-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Jefferson (Rockford, IL).
With the loss, Rockford East drops to 7-7 on the season. The E-rabs travel to Guilford (Rockford, IL) to encounter the Vikings in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 test on Tuesday, October 3. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 7-4. Guilford won 7-2 in their recent league test against Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL)
