Ohio High School Soccer - Groveport-Madison held off by Hayes
September 30, 2023: Delaware, OH 43015 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Hayes Pacers (Delaware, OH) and the visiting Groveport-Madison Cruisers (Groveport, OH), saw Hayes's soccer squad get by Groveport-Madison by a margin of 3-2.
The Pacers now sport a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Jonathan Alder for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 3. Hayes will meet a Pioneers squad coming off a 2-2 non-league Northwestern (Springfield, OH). The Pioneers record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Groveport-Madison drops to 5-6 on the season. The Cruisers host Newark (Newark, OH) to meet the Wildcats in a test on Thursday, October 5. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-12. Newark lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Central Crossing (Grove City, OH)
