September 30, 2023: Paris, KY 40361 The Powell County Pirates smashed the host Paris Greyhounds soccer squad by a margin of 4-0 in Saturday's non-league match.
The Pirates now sport a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Wolfe County for a District 54 match on Monday, October 2. Powell County will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Paintsville (Paintsville, KY). The Wolves record now stands at 5-14.
With the loss, Paris drops to 1-16 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY) to encounter the Cardinals in a District 39 match on Tuesday, October 3.
