The Desert Mountain Wolves volleyball team (Scottsdale, AZ), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ)

The Bears (12-15) will now prepare for their challenge against O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 18-1 record.

Next, the Wolves encounter the Cactus Shadows Falcons (Cave Creek, AZ) in a 5A - Northeast Valley challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Desert Mountain will attempt to move on its 18-11 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ).
