South Dakota High School Volleyball - Brandon Valley tips Riggs
September 30, 2023: Pierre, SD 57501 The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Brandon Valley Lynx (Brandon, SD) and the host Riggs Governors (Pierre, SD), saw Brandon Valley's volleyball squad nip Riggs by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Brandon Valley upgrades its record to 5-10 on the year. The Lynx host Yankton (Yankton, SD) to play the Bucks/Gazelles in a AA District 1 bout on Thursday, October 5. The Bucks/Gazelles go into the bout with a record of 3-12. Yankton lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD)
The Governors now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Huron for a AA District 1 bout on Tuesday, October 3. Riggs will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 9-10.
