September 30, 2023: Bluffton, SC 29910 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Northwood Academy Chargers (Charleston, SC) and the host Cross Episcopal Stingrays (Bluffton, SC), saw Northwood Academy's volleyball squad beat Cross Episcopal by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Northwood Academy upgrades its record to 20-7 on the year. The Chargers travel to Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC) to play the Cyclones in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30. The Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 11-16. Porter-Gaud won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Hanahan (Hanahan, SC)
The Stingrays now own a 10-16 record. They play next when they travel to Whale Branch for a non-league bout on Monday, October 2. Cross Episcopal will play a Warriors squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Branchville (Branchville, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 11-10.
