The Elyria Christian held off the host Skyline Thunderbirds volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The now have a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sterling for a non-league test on Saturday, September 30. Elyria Christian will confront a Black Bears team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Moundridge (Moundridge, KS). The Black Bears record now stands at 3-14.

The Thunderbirds (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Inman (Inman, KS). The Inman Teutons enter the non-league test with a 19-3 record.
