The Johnson County Central Thunderbirds volleyball team (Tecumseh, NE), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Tri County Trojans (DeWitt, NE)

The Trojans (15-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE). The Wolverines enter the non-league challenge with a 11-15 record. In their last challenge, Wilber-Clatonia nipped Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Thunderbirds meet the Auburn Bulldogs (Auburn, NE) in a C1 District 3 challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Johnson County Central will attempt to move on its 15-7 season record.
