California High School Volleyball - Kennedy over Washington Union

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA) and the host Washington Union Panthers (Fresno, CA), saw Kennedy's volleyball squad beat Washington Union by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Kennedy upgrades its record to 16-10 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Delano (Delano, CA) to play the Tigers in a South Sequoia bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 9-14. Delano lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Woodlake (Woodlake, CA)

The Panthers now own a 17-7 record. They play next when they travel to Kerman for a Tri-County- Sequoia bout on Monday, October 2. Washington Union will play a Lions squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Hanford West (Hanford, CA). The Lions record now stands at 9-12.
