The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans (Kensington, MD) and the visiting Richard Montgomery Rockets (Rockville, MD), saw The Academy of the Holy Cross's volleyball squad beat Richard Montgomery by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, The Academy of the Holy Cross upgrades its record to 12-0 on the year. The Tartans host St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD) to play the Knights in a Washington Catholic bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 7-5. St. Mary's Ryken lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Arundel (Gambrills, MD)
