September 30, 2023: Roscoe, TX 79545 The Sterling City Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Roscoe Plowboys to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now have a 8-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forsan for a 2A Region I District 4 game on Tuesday, October 3. Sterling City will meet a Buffaloes team coming off a 3-0 league win over Roscoe (Roscoe, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 17-12.
The Plowboys (3-7) will now prepare for their game against Colorado (Colorado City, TX). The Wolves enter the 2A Region I District 4 game with a 6-9 record. In their last game, Colorado gained a win over Reagan County (Big Lake, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
