September 30, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87114 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM), saw Volcano Vista's soccer squad knock off Albuquerque Academy by a count of 2-0.
The Hawks (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions enter the non-league battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Farmington tipped Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Chargers battle the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 1. Albuquerque Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Matadors enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM).
