Illinois High School Football - St. Patrick can't hold off Brother Rice
September 30, 2024: Chicago, IL 60634 Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team tip the host St. Patrick Shamrocks (Chicago, IL), 24-20 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Brother Rice improves its record to 1-0 on the season.
The Shamrocks now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host St. Laurence for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 12. St. Patrick will encounter a Vikings team coming off a 33-16 league loss to Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.
