In their next game, the Cherokees play the Shaw Raiders (Columbus, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Kendrick will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Raiders go into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 35-6 non-league win over Spencer (Columbus, GA).
