West Virginia High School Football - University can't hold off Fairmont Senior
September 30, 2024: Morgantown, WV 26508 Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) followers went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team tip the host University Hawks (Morgantown, WV), 14-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Fairmont Senior advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Polar Bears host Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league battle on Monday, October 7. The Buccaneers go into the battle with a record of 0-1.
The Hawks now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Connellsville for a non-league battle on Monday, October 14.
