Washington High School Football - Yelm smashes Spanaway Lake
September 30, 2024: Yelm, WA 98597 The Yelm Tornados (Yelm, WA) football trounced the visiting Spanaway Lake Sentinels (Spanaway, WA), 49-0 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Tornados now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Graham-Kapowsin for a non-league outing on Monday, October 7. Yelm will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 42-0 non-league win over Emerald Ridge (South Hill, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, Spanaway Lake drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Sentinels host Bethel (Spanaway, WA) to clash with the Bison in a non-league outing on Monday, October 7. The Bison come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Bethel lost 18-14 in their recent non-league outing against Olympia (Olympia, WA)
