Oregon High School Soccer - Springfield toppled by Lake Oswego
September 30, 2024: Springfield, OR 97477 Lake Oswego Lakers (Lake Oswego, OR) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Springfield Millers (Springfield, OR), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Lake Oswego moves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Oregon City (Oregon City, OR) to clash with the Pioneers in a 6A Three Rivers test on Wednesday, October 9. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 3-4.
The Millers now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Eugene for a 5A Midwestern test on Tuesday, October 8. Springfield will clash with a Highlanders team coming off a 2-2 non-league Nelson (Happy Valley, OR). The Highlanders record now stands at 2-3.
